Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I have been MIA for the last week due to terrible headaches.  I finally had some pressure released on Friday, but still had vision problems until yesterday.  I hadn't had such bad headaches since pre-surgery.  Nothing I took seemed to touch the pressure.  Hopefully I have come to the end of whatever this was.

The weather here is very hot and humid.  We don't usually have it this hot until around August, so I have a feeling it will be a ery, very hot summer.  It has been the first time since surgery that I have really been feeling the heat.

Today I will concentrate on keeping hydrated by increasing my fluids.  My food is:

1. Click/Chocolite/PB2/Almond milk frapp.
2. Pure Protein bar
3. Tomato and Mozz. cheese salad w/ italian dressing
4. string cheese and pluets
5. veggie salad w/ turkey pastrami
6. protein shake

Have a Great day!

Good Morning BOTTers  - This wil be short as work is calling - actually work is bellowing!  LOL

Have been job hunting as the Air Force will not be funding mental health jobs for the next fiscal year for contract employees - and I'm a contract employee.  I think I have a job which will be a longer drive but will pay significantly more and will start with a four-day work week (tell me, have I died and gone to Heaven???)  with the possibility of earning the same amount and working a 3-day work week in 2 or 3 months.   Should know for sure by the end of June, but it couldn't look better at this point.

I have maintained through all of this with wider fluctuations but have stayed within the 3 pounds above and 3 pounds below goal weight which is the limit I have set for myself.  Will admit though it has mostly been in the 3 pounds above range and that scares me.

More another day

Good morning Goody and fellow BOTT'ers.

I've been MIA too - but I've been so busy at work and geting ready for my European vacation.

Scale is not moving but I am ok with it. Last week I've been eating more - probably out of stress.

I went to the dentist and have a lot of work to be done over a course of a year and a half. That added to my stress level.

Goody, I hope that you are feeling better soon.

Today I am back 100% with my eating plan. My workouts are going so well and I'm up on the elliptical to 42 minutes - on level 3.

B- 1/2 cup cottage cheese with sliced radishes.
L - roasted chicken with mixed green salad/balsamic vinegar
D - spicy black bean burger with cauliflower
S - Dannon Light & FIt Yogurt, chocolate rice cake with 1 TBS peanut butter.

Vitamins, water and antibiotics for me. I have a deep dental cleaning scheduled for Wednesday. Can you say OUCHIE??

Have a great day everyone!

Lucy

Hi everyone !

I'm back again, I think if I just keep coming back I will be ok ! ! !

Today's plan

mini bagel with Butter
Carrot's with Peanut butter (mmmm, hadn't had that in ages, loved it )
Ham rollup
Protein Drink
Chicken & Veggies

Time to get back to the water (was camping all weekend, didn't get enough in)

No excercise today, no time, oh, unless you count golf (I'm sure if I walked the course it would be better for me but no, I will be riding...LOL)  So I guess it is "Swinging the golf club"  and belive me, I do that alot !

Hi BOTTs,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

My weekend was good.  Had my in-laws in town so enjoyed visiting with them.  Also spent some time looking for a summer dress for a wedding in July.  --  Need to get back to my goal weight for that wedding.

Anyhow, I'm still having issues with planning my meals.  Which brings me to ask....

When do you guys plan your meals?
 - The evening before
 - Mornings

Need tips - Thanks,
Lisa

HI LISA,
I GO TO http://www.livestrong.com AND I CAN PLAN OUT MEALS DAYS AHEAD OF TIME.
I CHECK MY CALORIES AND THE PROTEIN ETC MAKING SURE ALL THIS IS ON ORDER...SOMETIMES I DO 3-5 DAYS AT A TIME...YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR SELECTIONS EVEN GO BACK TO A DAY YOU HAVE ALREADY  PAST AND EDIT IT ..(WHEN I CHEAT I STILL GO BACK AND LOG IT SO I CAN SEE HOW MUCH I TOOK IN OR HOW BAD I DID..)
ANYWAY I LOVE THE SIGHT. HOPE THIS HELPS

 Hi Cajunbuderfly,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I'm registered at livestrong.com, but how do you plan your meals in advance?  Do you use The Daily Plate feature?

yes and on the right side of the page at the top in it says <(Today)> in  gray those  little arrows are where you can advance to the next day or several days or you can go back to another date and ajust your intake if you did not stick to your plan,...i  then go to my diary for that day and copy and paste it and then print it from the chart given for that day and keep them ..i dont always have access to the computer and i like keeping a journal on paper...or just print the pages from the plate ...i love it. hope that helps.
